My creatinine is usually anywhere from 132-148! No one has ever said what it should be with one remaining kidney with tumours in it, so I was interested to hear of your levels. I drink my 2litre of water every day, plus green tea and rice milk on cereals, so I do get my fluid intake but my creatinine is always above 132. I see you are having your scans without contrast - is this because your Creatinine levels have been too high? I ask because I am still scanned every 3 months, and I have to drink 2 large glasses of clear liquid, AND I also get injected with the dye. When I asked about this, my doctors assured me that the 'dye' has been amended recently, so that it is much easier on my one kidney. As long as I drink lots of water before & after the scans, my docs prefer the contrast, as they get better images. My creatinine reading was slightly high at 113 last fall, but my oncologist said this is fine when living with 1 kidney. He said it wouldn't become a major problem unless it got closer to the 200 reading mark. I'm interested to hear how others are doing with their creatinine and if they have contrast with their testing. All the best to you.
