I didn't want to but my personal view in this blog (that's for my next one) otherwise it would have muddied the defenitions with my personal rantings :). NICE is far from the independant body it was setup to be. Clearly it's remit is to follow what the doh set out, and that's plain wrong, change this and we have an nhs that has a better chance. Just to be clear, I'm a firm believer in the nhs and what it sets out to do, however we need change to improve it and NICE would be a good place to start. I agree.
